I am so into him, every movie is delish. this one looks especially awesome and intense. It takes place in Israel in 1960s at a mental institution exclusively for concentration camp survivors of the Holocaust. its called Adam Resurrected probably not coming to a theater near you but looks dank! did I just use "dank" as an adj gee.
Also I watched one hour of Bongwater and had to stop myself because I found out it was based on a book so I must read the book first, a great cast once again. Updates later on the book set in my lovely college nastalgia Portland, OR an alien is also involved and Jake Black and hippies and Weed of course.

Fortunes
Because I know my dear friend Zach Rose adores fortunes cookies as do I, and good East Coast Chinese- Swill from Fantasy Island which I have posted about before in Foodie.
"While times may seem difficult, your future forecasts a quick turnaround."
"One person with a belief is equal to a force of ninety-nine who have only interest."
"Seems people like to give advise, bu not listening to their own."
"No one grows old by living, only by losing interest in the living."
"Night people:'Anybody who goes to bed the same day they got up is a quitter.'"
We orderded $37.50 worth of food for Me and Uncle Teddy.
Order as followed:
Pork Strips
Fantasy Steak
Garlic pan fried noodles
Pork friend rice
Fried Wontons
4 ginger sauce for dipping (they said it would be expensive)
and extra duck sauce and mustard.

I had a very artsy day!!
Charcoal drawing of a ross wood branch. 18X24
"The Business of Art and Media" Mixed Media 20X26
This one is a classical still life with a twist. We were suppose to make it a somewhat of a self portrait and incorporate various symbols and items in it. My Vanatass symbol is the lima bean. It symbolizes my mother and her nickname Bean. Its suppose to make me remember how short and sweet life can be and how you can't forget to cherish moments of brief euphoria. Life is too short and so was the life of Bean.
"Waves of my heart" Mixed Media 20X26
This is a hybrid space. A self portrait if you will.
"Little Boxes" 18X24 Pencil
Classic drawing exercise on perspective and precision. I love this methodical exercise.

oh the ensemble cast...
This is my new favorite, future, obsession movie. I love ensemble casts like I love steak and potatoes. This Side of the Truth check out that cast line up and let me know if you don't get a little wet. Sounds epic, I'm there.

Hybrid Room
This is Jay Walker's library in CT. Not to be confused with Jay Walking. He is a very successful American entrepreneur and inventor of Pricline.com. Which showcases one of my favorite characters, the negotiator played by none other then William Shatner. Obviously this guy is a genius and billionaire. My drawing teacher asked us to look up this article in Wired 16.10 issue to get inspiration for our midterm assignment which is to create a hybrid room of shapes, feelings, images and even text of things that express ourselves. I'm not totally sure how this amazing library which features bejeweled books is connected to us as artists but it sure is cool to look at.
